The Resort is located on the lava-made slopes of Vourvoulos, nestled among traditional vineyards, on the tranquil side of Santorini (10 minutes’ drive from Fira, the capital of the island, 20 minutes’ drive from Oia, the most touristic place of Santorini, 10 minutes’ drive from the airport and 25 minutes’ drive from the port)
The hotel offers a unique guest experiences with an exquisite hospitality (the team is as attentive as they are discreet to its clients) : 59 guestrooms and suites (46 featuring private pools & hot tubs), an holistic wellness center with a spa and indoor pool, an infinity outdoor pool with a view on the Aegean Sea, a fully equipped fitness center and much more !
During my stay, I was able to experiment the fabulous “Tasting Menu” at MAGMA by SPONDI, curated by a two-starred Michelin Chef, honoring local agriculture like wines from local vineyards. A rather privatized and divine moment in taste.
I also passed into the expert hands of the “LAVA SPA” team. I highly recommend the signature spa treatments, because of carefully and local selected products and of the volcanic-inspired ritual.
Last but not least, it was the room. The “MAGMA SUITE” is the most luxurious suite of the hotel. Smartly designed measuring 77 sq m, mastering the luxury living concept with a private terrace, a king bed, a separated living area and an stunning private pool. Just royal !
