LUXWT Review

When traveling to Rome, finding a place that you can come back to and relax after a long day of walking and sightseeing is a must. The Aleph Hotel is one of the newer luxury hotels in Rome, but we did not come across any mishaps or inconveniences. They went above and beyond!

Converted into a luxury hotel from a bank, the Aleph hotel is a part of the Curio Collection by Hilton. The staff are top notch, and you can find yourself gazing at the architecture and interior design of the newly renovated hotel. 

When we arrived, checkin was seamless, and our bags were taken up to our room happily by the bellhop. We had a Prestige King Room with a Terrace, and it was fantastic. We were greeted with decadent chocolates and a fruit basket. The room had the comfiest King bed, a pillow menu, USB charger outlets, and complimentary mini bar drinks. The only thing I thought was missing in the room were some comfy spa robes. 

When you plan to stay at this hotel, I highly recommend getting a room with a terrace. It is very large, might even be bigger than the room, and has two loungers, a couch, and a swinging bed. It is no surprise that when you come to Rome, you will pretty much walk everywhere. So, coming back to your hotel room and having a glass of wine on the terrace at night is what sets this hotel apart. 

The location of the Aleph is very ideal, as it close to most of the major attractions: Trevi, Piazza Navona, The Spanish Steps etc. The Colosseum is about a 30 minute walk. It is also very close to Villa Borghese and the beautiful gardens. If you don’t want to walk all over, it is also close to the metro, maybe 3 minute walk.

What I really liked about this hotel is there is a rooftop pool and lounge area. Not many hotels in Rome have pools and this one is perfect for relaxing mid-day in the hot sun before fun evening excursions around town. They also have a hotel restaurant near the rooftop pool which had wonderful food. I recommend the pasta dishes, and the delicious prosecco!

Overall, the Aleph is a great choice for a luxurious and relaxing trip to Roma!
